In March 2007, we approached Richard with the intention of selling our property in Acadia. The home had some unique characteristics: it was built in 1745, it was very spacious and it was quite expensive to maintain. We had to focus on a fairly narrow range of potential buyers. During the first visit, I said to Richard that I was hoping for a quick sale… in about three years' time! He burst out laughing. It ended up taking nearly five years to conclude the sale. Despite everything, Richard maintained his enthusiasm, his desire to succeed and his professionalism (not to mention his good humour) right up to the signing of the contract to which he had been so committed. Bravo, Richard, you're a true professional!
